A dance for mourning and survival

The Khmer Rouge, a Maoist organization that ruled Cambodia for about five years in the 1970s, committed great atrocities, one of which was the “forced marriage” project. The scars of this tragedy still remain for many Cambodians, and in recent years a dance performance has been performed in Cambodia as a plea and relief for the tragedy.
